Consultant in Adult General Psychiatry

Priory Wellbeing Centre Manchester is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our patients.

We are seeking Consultants in Adult General Psychiatry to meet the increasing demand for general mental health psychiatry in the adult population.

The role offers a blended approach of face-to-face and remote appointments, with the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.

As a Consultant, you will be required to register with private medical insurance companies to provide services to our corporate clients.

The role involves building and managing a private outpatient practice, contributing to inpatient services, and engaging in quality improvement and governance activities.

You will have the opportunity to network with professional colleagues and referral sources, maintain professional development, and meet Revalidation requirements.

Experience in psychiatry and substance misuse is essential, as is a strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.

A successful DBS check is required, funded by Priory, and a robust focus on personal and professional development is expected.

Admitting privileges to our facilities are also required.
