Join Our Team as a Consultant in Adult General Psychiatry

Priory Wellbeing Centre Manchester is committed to providing exceptional care and promoting the well-being of all our patients. We are seeking a Consultant in Adult General Psychiatry to join our team and contribute to the increasing demand for general mental health services in the adult population.

The role offers the opportunity to work in a blended approach of face-to-face and remote appointments, allowing for flexibility and adaptability. As a Consultant, you will be required to register with various private medical insurance companies to benefit our corporate clients.

The position involves building and managing a private outpatient practice while contributing to our inpatient services. Manchester Wellbeing Centre will provide administrative support to ensure timely and effective clinics. Priory supports Consultants with marketing opportunities and involvement in media promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in quality improvement and governance activities
  • Network with professional colleagues and referral sources
  • Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements
  • Experience in psychiatry and substance misuse
  • A strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks
  • Successful completion of a DBS check, funded by Priory
  • A robust focus on personal and professional development
  • Admitting privileges to our facilities
