Senior Administrator

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Administrator to join their dynamic Medical & Dental (M&D) E-rostering Team for a 12-month period.
The M&D E-rostering Team provides critical support for the implementation and maintenance of the Trust's electronic rostering systems. As a Senior Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for M&D rostering queries and will work closely with the E-rostering Facilitator and Improvement Manager to ensure seamless implementation and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, excellent negotiation and persuasion techniques, and the ability to produce and analyze system-generated data. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the E-rostering Facilitator and Improvement Manager in the rollout and maintenance of an electronic rostering system across the Trust.
- Maintaining roster information, making calculations, and system adjustments to ensure accuracy of data.
Previous experience working within the NHS and/or similar environments and use of an electronic rostering system are desirable but not essential, as a full training package will be provided.

The successful candidate will possess:
- A good standard of English to GCSE (9-4 or A-C) or equivalent RSA/OCR level III or equivalent knowledge and skills NVQ III in Business and Administration or equivalent knowledge and skills to diploma level.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience of working with Medical and Dental staffing groups.
- Experience of training in one-to-one and/or group settings.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Ability to analyze data and complex information.
