We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT) based at the Royal Derby Hospital.
Main Responsibilities- Provide a full range of administrative duties for the team, including supporting letters being sent on IT systems, ordering stock, updating lists, taking messages, and organizing meetings.
- Use a range of IT software packages, including Microsoft Office, to perform administrative tasks.
- Ensure the maintenance of accurate and efficient filing systems, including both paper and computerized systems, ensuring strict confidentiality of client identifiable information.
- Take notes and organize meetings as requested by MHLT staff or manager.
- Undertake general clerical tasks, including photocopying, filing, processing of mail, and other administrative duties as required.
- RSA Word Processing/Typing Grade II or equivalent typing qualification/demonstrable experience.
- GCSE English language – minimum grade C.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and work to the required standards within defined time limits.
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
