Job Title: Aerospace Inspector

Join our team as an Aerospace Inspector and play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products. As a CMM inspector, you will be responsible for checking components against relevant specifications, providing a balance between cost-effectiveness and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all company policies surrounding material handling, health & safety, quality requirements, and housekeeping are met.
  • Interpret or evaluate inspection measurements in accordance with applicable specifications or procedures.
  • Review nonconforming product and determine the most appropriate action using all available data sources, experience, and knowledge.
  • Review and suggest existing and new products suitable for CMM inspection.
  • Review CMM equipment, tooling, and process and identify efficiencies and improvements.
  • Interpret the results of all methods of inspection.
  • Select, calibrate, or operate equipment used in the QC inspection of products or materials.
  • Conduct pre-operation daily and other checks on equipment where required.
  • Prepare inspection reports.
  • Raise and process NCRs as required and determine the most appropriate action using all available relevant data sources.
Requirements:
  • Educated to a good standard of high school education or equivalent.
  • Qualified or time-served CNC machinist with working knowledge of Mitutoyo Crysta Apex c & ZWICK 4150BK extended Rockwell tester.
