Job Title: Project Delivery Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Project Delivery Specialist to join our Property Service department within the Asset Team at Rochdale Boroughwide Housing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of major investment contracts from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

* Contract Management: Ensure contracts are delivered within agreed timescales, budget, and quality standards.
* Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, architects, and local authority representatives.
* IT Skills: Compile tender packages using MS programmes and AutoCAD (desirable).
* Organisational Skills: Ensure deadlines are met, contracts are delivered on time, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
* Financial and Budget Management Skills: Ensure contracts are delivered on budget and value for money is achieved.
* Negotiation Skills: Achieve cooperation and agreements between stakeholders, contractors, and customers, including conflict resolution.
* Time Management Skills: Ensure multiple contracts are delivered simultaneously to meet targets and programmes are delivered on time.
* Building Surveying Skills: Identify building defects and appropriate remedial action in accordance with Building Standards and regulations.
* Health and Safety Awareness: Ensure contractors meet their duties and responsibilities under CDM 2015 regulations.
* Specialisms: Knowledge and awareness of electrical, mechanical, cyclical maintenance, and legal issues.
