Skilled Workshop Technician

Join our team as a Skilled Workshop Technician and take on a challenging role that requires a diverse range of skills.
- Install and commission bin lifts and weighing products with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform repair, refurbishment, and maintenance on bin lifts and recycling vehicles to ensure they are in top working condition.
- Execute engineering tasks, including fabrication and welding as necessary, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Follow quality control procedures meticulously, documenting all pertinent information to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Uphold strict adherence to health and safety standards throughout all tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Strive for productivity in alignment with achievable Key Performance Indicator (KPI) times to meet business objectives.
- Adhere to established company policies and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency in all aspects of the job.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct process-driven pre-delivery inspections to enhance customers' in-service experience and ensure a smooth transition.
- Acquire mechanical knowledge, including the skill to disassemble bin lifts, refurbish them with new parts, and rebuild them to meet the needs of our customers.
- Possess general fitting skills to provide support for various workshop activities and ensure a high level of productivity.
