About the Role:

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing daily nutritious meals for our residents. Your expertise in cooking techniques and knowledge of nutrition will enable you to develop menus that meet dietary requirements. You will also ensure that all health and safety and environmental standards are achieved and maintained. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with your team and inspire them to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare daily meals for residents
  • Develop menus that meet dietary requirements
  • Ensure health and safety and environmental standards are maintained
  • Lead and motivate the culinary team
  • Manage kitchen operations and resources

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting
  • Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of nutrition and ability to develop menus that meet dietary requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure
