About the Role:

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Emergency Medical Technicians. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation in emergency situations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Ensure continuous duty of care to patients within the level of training and competency of this role, maintaining an appropriate level of monitoring and treatment.
  • Communication: Provide clear handover reports when handing patients over to other healthcare professionals, recording all pertinent patient information.
  • Vehicle Operations: Drive approved ambulance vehicles under normal and blue light circumstances, adhering to service standards and road traffic laws.
  • Maintenance: Conduct general vehicle checks at the start of and during each shift to ensure readiness.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of medical and life support equipment carried on vehicles, assisting qualified practitioners as needed.
  • Scene Safety: Comply with basic scene safety checks and risk assessments, working with other healthcare staff.
  • Support Roles: Support qualified practitioners in providing high-quality care and gathering relevant information from carers or others at scenes.

About Us: Central Medical Services Ltd is a professional private medical service working with the NHS and private clients, operating a 24/7 private ambulance and medical service across the UK.

Requirements:

  • FREC Level 3 and FREC Level 4 qualifications.
  • Recognised blue light qualification (IHCD / Level 3 Emergency Response Ambulance Driving).
  • Full UK clean driving licence with at least 2 years' experience.

Working Conditions: This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergency calls and providing critical care to patients. You must be able to work effectively under pressure and maintain your composure in challenging situations.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is £27,500 - £37,500 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
