Job Summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a dedicated individual to ensure smooth operations on the tarmac. As an Aircraft Fueler, you will be responsible for performing daily Quality Control checks on equipment, fueling aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, and maintaining accurate records of fuel transactions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Fuel aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company and airline procedures.
  • Accurately account for fuel transactions, including calculating fuel distributions for various aircraft.
  • Maintain equipment in a clean and functional condition, ensuring it is ready for use at all times.
  • Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Defuel aircraft as directed, using fuel trucks and hydrant carts.
  • Lift and move up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment, as required.
  • Drive a variety of light and heavy-duty vehicles, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, in accordance with company and airline procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess/maintain a valid Class G driver's license in good standing and other Airport required identification/security passes or authorizations.
  • Lift and move up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment.
  • Work is done primarily outdoors, in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Must be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliability, as our customers and fellow employees rely on you.
