About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at our site in Erith, Kent. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and shipping schedules
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Identify and address any operational issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced logistics or supply chain environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
- High levels of PC/Microsoft package literacy, with experience of using computerized warehouse management systems
