We are seeking a skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide expert advice and support to our Claims management team, helping to assess and manage Income Protection, Critical Illness, and Ill health liability Insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans for our members, working closely with them to establish their clinical capabilities and goals.
- Build effective relationships with our members, fostering trust and open communication to ensure successful outcomes.
- Review and refine our rehabilitation procedures to ensure market-leading delivery of services to our members.
- Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure cost-effective services and high-quality support for our members.
- Train and mentor other team members on the benefits and best practices of rehabilitation, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist with a strong background in case management, occupational health, or vocational rehabilitation.
- Registered member of the Nursing Council or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and make confident judgments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and report writing skills.
- Knowledge of the Insurance market or Income Protection products is preferred, although training will be provided.
