Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Manage client and office accounts in accordance with Solicitor Regulation Authority (SRA) guidelines, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Payment Processing: Process payments, receipts, and transfers accurately and promptly, maintaining a high level of financial integrity.
- Bank Reconciliation: Conduct daily bank reconciliations and manage petty cash, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with SAR AML regulations and internal policies, maintaining a secure and transparent financial environment.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of month-end and year-end accounts, providing relevant financial reports as required.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise with fee earners and support staff to resolve accounting queries, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm, with a strong understanding of financial regulations.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Solicitors Account Rules (SAR) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, with proficiency in legal accounting software.
