Job Summary:

NRL is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Major Projects division in Renfrew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Quantity Surveying, producing monthly cost reports, and supporting decision-making through detailed cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate Quantity Surveying activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.

  • Produce detailed cost reports, analyzing and interpreting data to inform business decisions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cost risks, ensuring project profitability.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with a strong understanding of NEC4 principles.

  • Proven experience in the construction industry, with a track record of success in major project environments (projects ranging from £1m to £100m).

  • Excellent cost control and financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings effectively.

  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
