About the Opportunity

We are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Culinary Lead to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food services to our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  2. Develop and implement menu plans that meet the dietary requirements of our residents
  3. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock control and food safety
  4. Work closely with the nursing team to understand resident preferences and tailor menus accordingly

What We're Looking For

  • Chef de partie or sous chef with experience in leading a team
  • City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification in culinary arts
  • Good understanding of nutrition and menu planning
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a close-knit team
