About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled operative to join their voids team in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will be multiskilled and able to complete a variety of tasks, including hanging doors, patch plastering, tiling, basic plumbing, and replacing kitchen units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out repairs at change of tenancy
  • Complete a range of tasks, including hanging doors, patch plastering, tiling, and basic plumbing
  • Replace kitchen units and window boards
  • Change locks

Requirements

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Previous maintenance experience, ideally within social housing

What We Offer

  • Part-time role with 3 days one week and 2 days the next
  • £17.26ph PAYE premium (£15.40ph basic plus £1.86 into holiday fund) or £19ph Umbrella (NO CIS)
  • Van provided to use in work hours, uniform provided, power tools provided
