Job Title: School Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented School Administrator to join our team at The Aurora Group. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our school, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the school team, including exams administration and maintenance of the Management Information System (MIS).
  • Ensure the safety and security of the school at all times, including locking the front door and controlling entry to the premises.
  • Maintain, update, sort, and retrieve a range of records and statistical data for student assessments.
  • Follow standard procedures for the security of confidential data and information.
  • Support colleagues and senior members of staff to achieve their work objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain positive relations with parents, local authority personnel, and the community.

Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and the ability to use a range of databases.
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy, with at least 5 GCSEs above C, including English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in administrative roles or within a school environment.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
  • Able to manage own time to deal with multiple tasks.
  • High levels of interpersonal ability, with excellent written and verbal communication.
