About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Sales Manager to contribute to our client's continued growth and expansion in the commercial sector. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business development, managing and growing a small, effective sales team, and developing new client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a sales team of up to 4 Business Development Managers (BDMs)
  • Hold weekly meetings with BDMs and provide monthly reports to the Director
  • Actively participate in monthly Board meetings
  • Recruit and interview new BDMs
  • Drive new business development, including cold calling and client relationship management
  • Oversee the CRM system and ensure accurate sales activity records
  • Prepare account documentation and client information packs
  • Attend sales meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and client entertainment events as required
  • Work closely with both the sales and operations teams
Requirements
  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the plumbing, drainage, or construction sectors
  • Excellent communication skills at all business levels
  • Experience with HubSpot (preferred)
  • Self-motivated with strong management capabilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online portals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent references
  • Full driving licence
  • Proven success in a similar role
  • Business acumen, strong organisational skills, and the ability to delegate and motivate
