Project Manager - Heat Treatments/Metallurgy

Location: Stoke-On-Trent, with hybrid/remote working available.

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + hybrid working + car or car allowance available + pension + holiday + company benefits.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager to join a progressive company and be involved in exciting new projects up to the value of £1m.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside both maintenance and engineering departments to oversee small work and large improvement projects at customer sites.

As a technical expert in their field, the ideal candidate will have a background in managing repairs, decommissioning, and installation of heat treatment/metallurgy or refractory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from small works to large-scale improvements
  • Work alongside an existing project team
  • Ensure regulatory requirements and standards are met
  • Oversee projects including maintenance repairs, decommission, install, and commission
  • Knowledge and experience of managing CAPEX projects

Requirements:

  • Experienced project engineers/process engineer/production engineer/applications engineer/metallurgist or similar background
  • Project management from small works to large-scale projects on an industrial/production site
