We are seeking an experienced Attendance Administrator to join our team at a secondary school in Dudley. As an Attendance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school's attendance improvement strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement attendance plans to improve student attendance.
- Facilitate communication with students, parents, and external agencies to resolve attendance-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records.
- Provide guidance and support to students and families to overcome attendance barriers.
- Track and analyze student attendance records to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Deliver training sessions on the importance of attendance and its impact on student outcomes.
- Assist students who have been absent for an extended period to re-engage them in their education.
- Ensure compliance with attendance-related policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with external agencies to provide additional support and resources to students and families.
- Assess students' needs, circumstances, and challenges related to attendance.
Key Requirements
- Enhanced DBS Check
- Proficiency in using SIMS Systems
- Experience of the attendance process for schools
- Experience working within a secondary school setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
