Job Title: Repairs and Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Repairs and Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Social Park Housing Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for coordinating repairs and maintenance activities for our mobile homes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants by responding promptly and accurately to their repair requests.
  • Coordinate the deployment of resources and workload to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Prepare and manage electronic work orders, including accurate descriptions of the work required.
  • Operate an electronic system for making appointments and ensuring that appointments are made with tenants at the time of the call.
  • Chase up individual repairs with contractors as necessary and maintain a comprehensive record of repair history.
  • Administer systems for processing orders, chasers, cancellations, and extensions of time liaised back to the resident.
  • Respond to tenants' enquiries on the progress of repairs and refer issues for investigation under the complaints procedure where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, and update them regularly.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Housing Benefit and Health and Safety would be an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £30,000 to £40,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • A full-time and permanent role with a 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday schedule.
