About the Role
RSM International is seeking an experienced Senior Risk Assurance Manager to join our Financial Services Risk Assurance (FSRA) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering internal audit and risk assurance services to a portfolio of financial services clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Client Management Team in the day-to-day delivery of internal audit and wider risk assurance services to clients.
- Oversee delivery of client work as part of the engagement delivery team, being a recognized RSM Manager for client engagements.
- Agree engagement scopes with clients, oversee client delivery by team members, and conduct quality assurance reviews of internal audit files and reports.
- Manage internal audit contracts and individual reviews in line with agreed budgets, and assist with billing, invoicing, and recovery management.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including tender presentations and visits to target clients, and networking at various events to build the RSM brand.
Requirements
- Extensive practical experience of working in an equivalent position in a professional services firm or large in-house function within industry.
- Technically proficient in executing and leading audits in accordance with IIA standards and the standards on effective audit in financial services across several areas, such as regulatory reporting, client money and assets, CRD IV, MIFID II, recovery and resolution planning, ICAAP, and Pillar 3 reporting.
- Senior Managers & Certification Regime, FCA Systems and Controls, governance, conduct risk management, and experience working in different financial services sectors, such as insurance, banking, alternative finance, FX trading, investment management, asset management, broker/dealers, and investment banking.
