Elite South London School: Seeking a Dedicated Drama Educator

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Drama Teacher to join our highly successful department at an elite mixed school in South London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic educator to teach at KS3 & KS4, working with a well-resourced and approachable Head of Department. Our school boasts an outstanding Ofsted report, excellent behaviour, and able students, making it an ideal environment for a driven professional to thrive.

The ideal candidate will have a formal teaching qualification (PGCE) and QTS, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire students. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs who share our passion for drama education.

Key Responsibilities

  • To teach drama at KS3 & KS4, developing engaging lesson plans and delivering high-quality teaching
  • To contribute to the development of the drama department, including curriculum planning and resource allocation
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment

Requirements

  • Degree in Drama or related subject
  • Formal teaching qualification (PGCE) and QTS
  • Experience of teaching drama at KS3 & KS4
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
