About the Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for handling goods, preparing orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Loading and unloading goods for storage and distribution.
  2. Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
  3. Updating stock records to maintain inventory accuracy.
  4. Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and organized.
  5. Operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (if qualified).
  6. Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse is desirable but not necessary.
  • Good physical fitness to perform manual tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including potential overtime.
  • Forklift license is an asset.

Compensation Package:

£26,500 - £32,000 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, employee discounts, and opportunities for career advancement.
