We are seeking an experienced and ambitious PSV Engineer to join our team at Arriva Cymru Limited, based at our Chester Depot.

As a PSV Engineer, your role will involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, diagnostic fault finding, and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses and coaches, adhering to the strict standards set by Arriva and the DVSA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine servicing and maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles meet Arriva and DVSA standards
  • Conducting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vehicle reliability
  • Preparing vehicles for MOTs, implementing planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and conducting quality checks
  • Diagnosing vehicle faults and ensuring maintenance is carried out to Arriva standards, exceeding DVSA requirements
  • Responding to roadside breakdowns
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in PSV/HGV maintenance and repair, minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent international qualification
  • A full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
  • Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical
