About the Role

We are looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our amazing IKEA Food Team. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team to deliver a better everyday life for the many, while embracing change with a solution-orientated mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Help us deliver a taste of Sweden and a great customer experience with high quality, sustainable food.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced environment and every day is filled with the opportunity to deliver a great value and quality food experience for the many.
  • Work together with your fellow co-workers, looking at things differently & always want to improve.
  • Take responsibility & inspire both the customer & other co-workers.
  • Strive to make them smile, taking time to seek and listen to feedback.

What We Offer

  • £12.00 basic hourly rate - we are a Living Wage Foundation Employer.
  • We offer permanent contracts, advanced scheduling.
  • Part Time - 16 hours per week, working 4 days per week including 3 out of 4 weekends and late evenings.
  • Part Time - 24 hours per week, working 5 days per week including 3 out of 4 weekends and late evenings.

Requirements

  • A team player with a passion for food and people.
  • You know your meat ball from your plant ball.
  • Prior experience in food is desirable, but not essential if you have a roll up your sleeve mindset to the various tasks & challenges that present themselves.
