Annual Reviewing Officer - Canford Heath Infant and Junior School

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and organized Annual Reviewing Officer to join our team at Canford Heath Infant and Junior School. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and developing the Annual Review process for all pupils within the Speech and Language Specialist Resourced Base Provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with school staff, parents, pupils, and external agencies to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Ensure statutory timelines and Local Authority requirements are met.
  • Organize, plan, and coordinate Annual Review meetings.
  • Support and implement improvements in the school's Annual Review procedures.
  • Promote the use of ICT to streamline operations and make the process more effective.
  • Produce and circulate Annual Review documentation to all relevant parties.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to school staff on the Annual Review process.
  • Regularly review action points from meetings and track progress on a half-termly basis.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in ICT, with experience in streamlining administrative processes.
  • A detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience in education, SEND, or a related field would be an advantage.
  • The ability to meet statutory deadlines and ensure compliance with Local Authority requirements.
