Mott MacDonald is hiring a talented Urban Drainage Specialist to join our team in Durham. As a Hydraulic Modeller, you will work on exciting and diverse projects throughout the North East and the rest of the UK.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting hydraulic modelling studies, sewerage management planning, network modelling, and other projects requiring detailed technical analysis/asset management.
  2. Searching for and organising data and information.
  3. Data analysis, visualisation, and programming (e.g., FME, Power BI).
  4. Feasibility studies/options development: asset performance assessments/reviews, report preparation/drawings, scheduling of work for sub-contractors and third-party survey teams, and liaison during the projects.
  5. Providing technical capability on wastewater projects as part of a project team.
  6. Assisting the Project Manager in the management/co-ordination of projects.
  7. Contributing to technical reports and presentations.
  8. Supporting the development of proposals for new projects.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Our core benefits include pension matching, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional development.
