About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Canine and Equine academic team and drive the growth of our provision. As a key member of our Academic Management Team, you will work alongside Programme Leaders for other subject specialisms to coordinate and manage effective curriculum delivery and student experience.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the achievement of our strategic plan and vision to secure our position as a leading-edge provider of land-based higher education
  • Work with Senior Leaders to develop operational enhancements and help steer the development of our new curriculum offer
  • Teach undergraduate programmes and lead a small team of academic teaching staff
  • Take lead responsibility in specific areas of programme activity to improve KPIs

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 6 qualification in a related discipline, preferably Bio Veterinary Science or Equine related subjects
  • Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent
  • A period of relevant and successful time within the relevant subject sector and education sector
  • Experience of teaching within Higher or Further education is highly desirable
  • Self-motivated with ability to motivate others and enthuse learners to succeed

  • An estimated salary of £38,500 - £43,700 per annum, based on location and industry standards
