About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Compliance Manager to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our Data Protection Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Trust's compliance with data protection legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK GDPR principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential data protection risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure data protection awareness and training.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on data protection best practices and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection legislation and regulations, and ensure the Trust's compliance with these changes.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of data protection legislation and regulations, including UK GDPR principles.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex data protection issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
