Job Title: Registered Community Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Community Nurse to join our team. As a Community Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a community setting. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver personalized care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, arranging diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations, taking appropriate action to ensure patient safety.
  • Display excellent analytical skills and sound decision-making in changing clinical situations.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Statement of NMC Registration.
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
  • Awareness of current issues in community nursing.
  • Clinically up-to-date.
  • Knowledge of manual handling and blood-borne disease principles.

Desirable:

  • Completion of required Trust mandatory training updates.
  • Contribution to own personal development.
  • Assistance with learning and development activities.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a community environment within the last 2 years.
  • Car driver with a clean license.
  • Awareness of personal safety.
