Experienced SEN Support Worker

Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with high levels of SEN.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support to students with High-Functioning Autism (HFA) and other SEN requirements
- Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies, in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs
- Encourage independence, social interaction, and communication skills through structured activities
- Assist with classroom tasks, ensuring students remain focused and engaged
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching staff
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the emotional and educational needs of each student
- Experience working with children or young adults with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) or other SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents effectively
- A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude toward supporting SEN learners
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent SEN qualifications)
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
