Lead Programme Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Programme Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our research programmes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and impact.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a strong background in programme management, with experience in leading teams and developing strategies to achieve organisational goals. You will work closely with our research teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and develop innovative solutions to drive progress.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement research programme strategies to achieve organisational objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programme outcomes, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with research teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address these gaps
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including funding bodies, partners, and industry leaders
- Manage programme budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to inform programme development and delivery
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as business, management, or a social science
- Proven experience in programme management, preferably in a research or academic setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
- Knowledge of research funding models and the ability to develop and manage proposals
- A strong understanding of the healthcare sector and its challenges
