Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Estimator. As a Trainee Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial team in preparing estimates, tenders, and other documentation for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize specialized software to conduct drawing measures and create quotes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project budgets are met and costs are accurately forecasted.
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, including clients and project managers.
  • Assist in the selection and sourcing of construction materials.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets for tender management and data control.
  • Work closely with contract management, construction, and head office teams to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
  • Experience in the building industry is a plus.
  • A clean UK driving license and ability to commute to our head office location.
