Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.

Requirements:

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
