About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our Middlesbrough team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and accurate loading, unloading, picking, and storing of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming trailers and verify the accuracy of shipments
  • Ensure that goods are received, stored, and dispatched in good condition, adhering to quality control standards
  • Operate and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in a safe and efficient manner
  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure the correct receipt and dispatch of goods, meeting customer and internal deadlines
  • Pick and load customer and inter-site orders accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A valid FLT counterbalance license is mandatory, and a FLT Reach license is desirable.
