Job Title: Debt Recovery ProfessionalAbout the Role

Become a Debt Recovery Professional with Brook Street and play a crucial role in recovering outstanding debts. In this full-time, permanent position, you will be responsible for identifying overdue accounts and initiating referrals for external debt collection or legal action when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Debt Identification: Identify overdue accounts and prioritize them for recovery.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers to resolve disputes and negotiate payment plans.
  • Referral Process: Initiate referrals for external debt collection or legal action when necessary, minimizing losses.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on debt recovery performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the credit control team and other departments to achieve common goals and drive business success.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable is preferred, with a focus on debt recovery and customer service.
  • Knowledge of Debt Recovery: Strong understanding of debt recovery principles and practices, including referral processes and dispute resolution.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
