Job Title: Commercial Account Manager

Our client, a leading manufacturer of precision parts for the aerospace industry, is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Aerospace OEMs.
  • Act as the internal "Voice of the Customer" for all customer and commercial related issues.
  • Manage key accounts and contracts, ensuring contractual compliance, business development, and maximising commercial opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Planning function to communicate supply issues to customers, ensuring conformity to contract performance measures and reporting regular updates to the executive team.
  • Manage customer enquiries, quoting, and closing, strictly in line with company policy, and report KPIs, tracking to budget and forecasts.
  • Represent the company at customer review meetings and coordinate resultant actions across the organisation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years prior account management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers at an executive level.
  • Advanced computer skills with experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
