About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technical Lead to join our dynamic Mission Critical team in our London office. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of technical expertise and leadership experience to this role.

This position plays a pivotal part in driving our business and the mission critical team to success by harnessing strong technical prowess and leadership. By strategically aligning technical approaches, ensuring quality through verification processes, and upholding meticulous technical standards, we aim to deliver standout solutions that surpass client and NDY expectations.

As the Technical Lead, you will be tasked with applying your engineering management skills to develop and execute business plans for a vital operational function within the office. Your key responsibility will be to maintain exceptional performance across all technical functions. Supporting divisional Directors and Leaders, as well as collaborating with technical specialists as needed, will be integral to your role.

Key Challenges:

  • Navigating collaborations with varied stakeholders in a complex setting.
  • Resolving challenges presented by legacy systems.
  • Optimising technical resources in delivery.
  • Upholding strict quality assurance and verification standards.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications alongside significant training and experience.
  • Official training and certification such as Registered Building Practitioner; CEng.
  • A minimum of 10 years of technical expertise, demonstrating proficiency in managing diverse projects throughout the entire systems development lifecycle, including overseeing large and complex projects.
  • Preferably, a background of at least 6-8 years in the Mission Critical Sector.
