Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with core team members to develop project vision and assess technical feasibility.
  • Identify and analyse risks, providing solutions for complex issues.
  • Approve technical specifications and ensure delivery of high-quality 3D assets.
  • Optimise 3D models for runtime applications.
  • Set up and maintain frameworks to support creative freedom while meeting quality and performance standards.
  • Represent the art team in technical discussions and client-facing meetings.
  • Write documentation, tutorials, and provide training to the Art, Design, and Engineering departments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, or a relevant technical discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience as a 3D Artist, with experience in a Lead role, particularly in the Experiential or Video Game industry.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Unreal Engine and/or Unity.
  • Expertise in Maya, Photoshop, and Substance Designer.
  • Familiarity with version control software, such as Perforce or Git.
  • Strong understanding of the creative and game development processes.
  • High proficiency in technical problem-solving.
  • Collaborative attitude, with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Passion for playing and creating experiential and video games.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience creating custom shaders via shader graphs or GLSL.
