Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Administrator to join our team in Liverpool. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with us in a Hybrid role, with visits to our head office in Welwyn Garden City or in Liverpool.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the support and maintenance of third-party finance-specific systems, including banking applications and accounting packages. They will also provide user setup and maintenance, administer tasks, and assist and train new users as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User setup and maintenance
  • Administration tasks including system setup and configuration changes
  • Assisting and training new users in system usage
  • Checking and reconciling data flow between systems
  • Providing support for end-users, answering questions, and dealing with issues, escalating to 3rd party or internal IT support teams when necessary
  • Managing problem/issue fixes with related 3rd party suppliers or internal IT teams
  • Scheduling and managing system patches, upgrades/releases, and hardware improvements with assistance from related IT teams, including regression testing

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Provision of system support to Finance teams
  • Strong IT skills and Excel knowledge
