Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Administrator to join our team in Liverpool. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the support and administration of our financial systems.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our finance systems are robust and reliable, working closely with the finance department to identify and implement process improvements. You will also be involved in supporting the finance systems team, IT teams, and third-party suppliers on changes to the finance systems, including system patches and upgrades.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and administer third-party financial systems, including banking applications and accounting packages
  • User setup and maintenance, including system configuration changes
  • Provide training and support to new users on system usage as needed
  • Verify data accuracy between systems through regular checks and reconciliations
  • Offer assistance to end-users, addressing questions and issues, and escalating to internal or external IT support teams when necessary
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers or internal IT teams to resolve problems and fix issues
  • Schedule and manage system patches, upgrades, and hardware improvements with assistance from related IT teams, including regression testing

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Provision of system support to finance teams
  • Strong IT skills and Excel knowledge

Salary Estimate: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including holiday purchase scheme, on-site gym, online benefits portal, and contributory company pension scheme.
