About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. You will supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and motivate a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care and support
  • Support the clinical team in specific areas, such as medication, assessments, care plans, and care reviews
  • Respect the dignity and preferences of our residents, creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless care delivery
About You

We are looking for a warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed individual with a passion for delivering high-quality care. You will have a strong background in healthcare, with a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. You will also have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
