About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Standards Inspector to join our team at Ad Warrior Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that properties meet minimum standards and are safe for occupation by homeless families and vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect Temporary Accommodation properties to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • Work with accommodation providers to improve property conditions and standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Local Authorities and Accommodation Providers
  • Travel within London to undertake property inspections
  • Conduct HHSRS assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Enforce Private Sector Housing legislation and regulations
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective delivery of the service
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health or relevant experience
  • Recognised HHSRS Assessors training Certificate or qualification
  • Broad experience of inspection and enforcement in Private Sector Housing
  • Experience of developing and managing relationships with Local Authorities and Accommodation Providers
  • Sound practical and theoretical knowledge of Private Sector Housing procedures and current legislation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
