Job Overview

The Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Advanced Pharmacist- Endocrine to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the pharmacy team, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent patient care and meet the Trust's standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacy service.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive seamless and coordinated care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Trust's strategic plans and objectives.
  • Ensure that the pharmacy service is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacist.
  • Experience of working in a leadership role, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
