About the Job

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where no two days are the same. As a Service Centre Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Trust's Fleet and Equipment functions, working closely with the Head of Fleet and Equipment and Deputy Head of Fleet and Equipment.

You will have a visual presence at all Service Centres within the area, supporting all staff within the workshop. You will hold regular performance and budget meetings and conduct Health and Safety audits. There are also opportunities to be involved in various projects within the Fleet Department, such as planning, development, and design of new vehicles and equipment.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams of people. You will work collaboratively with multi-disciplined teams to continuously develop and evolve productive and efficient ways of working.

In terms of salary, this role comes with a competitive NHS salary package, including a standard working week of hours, holiday entitlements of 27 days per year, plus general and public holidays, rising to 29 days after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years, pay enhancements for out of hours, shift, and overtime working, a generous pension scheme, career and salary progression, car leasing scheme, free parking across Trust sites, staff networks, and wide range of discounts from various organisations across the UK.
