We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Prehabilitation Support Worker in NHS National Services Scotland.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term post of 12 months, providing an exciting opportunity for someone with a combination of skills within healthcare and exercise science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop tailored prehabilitation plans to enhance their physical and mental well-being prior to and during treatment.
  • Deliver and adapt prehabilitation programs to meet individual patient needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to help patients optimise their quality of life.
Requirements
  1. Degree in a relevant field such as healthcare or exercise science.
  2. Relevant certification in cancer care or prehabilitation is preferred (opportunity exists to complete this as part of the professional development of the role).
  3. Passion for improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
