About the Job: We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cambridge. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the success of our construction projects by assisting in managing costs, contracts, and project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and managing project budgets and valuations
  • Support senior surveyors in contract administration and cost reporting
  • Help manage subcontractor accounts and procurement processes
  • Monitor project progress and provide financial updates to the team
  • Contribute to risk management and cost control measures
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders as required

What You Need:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or working towards)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role (construction experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, CostX, etc.)
