Mental Health Community Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing and formulating individual interventions, plans, and outcome measures that promote recovery for adults with mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and formulate individual interventions, plans, and outcome measures that promote recovery for adults with mental health difficulties.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and professional disciplines to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans that address the unique needs of each service user.
- Provide support and guidance to service users, families, and carers to promote recovery and social inclusion.
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and registration with the NMC.
- Post-registration experience of working in multidisciplinary community mental health services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of government directives, current policies, and relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act 1983.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the service.
