About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at Gateway Recovery Centre in Widnes. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care and delivery of clinical services
  • Oversee and provide guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the unit are performing well
  • Monitor service users' conditions and respond to changes, making critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and liaison
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification and NMC registration
  • A positive attitude, naturally caring and compassionate, with a commitment to high-quality care and values-based practice
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment, with a proven track record of leadership skills
